It is the set of documents, accounts, files and digital messages your family will need to find someday. In Legado you organize it in a vault: you store documents, write life instructions (banks, insurance, assets and contacts), leave messages and appoint trusted heirs.
No. Legado is a personal organization tool and has no legal validity as a will. For a valid will, consult a lawyer or notary in your country.
You upload your documents to the vault as PDF or image (JPG, PNG or HEIC) and categorize them: deeds, policies, contracts, certificates. The free plan allows up to 5 documents and 50 MB in total.
Through a protected web portal. They request access with their email, receive a one-time code and must wait 72 hours, a window in which you can cancel the request. They only see what you designated.
It is an optional PRO plan feature, off by default. You choose a period of 30, 60 or 90 days and, when it passes, Legado first notifies you three times. Only if you do not respond does it notify the heirs who accepted the invitation.
Information is encrypted in transit (TLS) and stored encrypted at rest (AES-256). Legado does not use end-to-end encryption: the keys are managed by the infrastructure, not your device.
The free plan includes up to 5 documents, one text message and one heir. PRO and VAULT are monthly or annual subscriptions with more capacity; you will see the price in your currency in the app.
